Midwest Region LECET

The Midwest Region Laborers-Employers Cooperation and Education Trust (LECET) is a partnership and alliance between the Laborers International Union of North America, the Midwest Regional Office, and its signatory contractors. Midwest Region LECET is a marketing and educational program dedicated to creating new business opportunities and projects for Union contractors, thereby creating new jobs and career opportunities for members of the Laborers’ Union. LECET has emerged as the leading labor-management program in the Midwest construction industry. Utilizing resources such as Project Tracking and Project Alerts, Midwest Region LECET is assisting our signatory contractors in being as competitive as possible. Midwest Region LECET contributions are included in building and heavy-highway agreements, as well as several specialty agreements in many of the Regions District Councils. In addition to the Midwest Region LECET program, the six District Councils each have active local LECET programs contributing to the statewide labor-management effort. The LECET programs in the Midwest Region, working in conjunction with each other, provide their individual services to more than 8,000 signatory contractors.
