The PRO Act was recently passed by the House and is headed to the Senate. The Act itself would make it harder for corporations to continue to abuse their employees and enable the NLRB to take more impactful action on behalf of workers. The Act would make it easier for workers to stand up for themselves and their community through collective action, along with many other changes focused on protecting workers’ rights and livelihoods.
It’s essential that this act is passed, and that our country finally begin to protect the legal right to unionize and fight for better lives. To help show support throughout the Midwest and the country, LiUNA Midwest Region has launched three Facebook profile picture frames that you can add to your picture to show your support. You can see all three frames in the image above.
We NEED everyone’s support spreading the word about the PRO Act, help us get the word out and get it through the Senate so that workers can have the protections they deserve.
Here are three ways that you can add these frames to your own profile picture:
- Follow this link and type “LIUNA PRO Act” into the search bar that says “Search for themes, owner names, and more.” From there you should be able to select one of the three frames and add it to your profile picture.
- In the Facebook mobile app, go to your own profile, tap your profile picture, then select “Add Frame.” Type “LIUNA PRO Act” into the search bar that says “Search frames,” then you should be able to select a frame and add it to your profile.
- On your desktop, go to Facebook, go to your own profile, click on your profile picture and select “Update Profile Picture.” Then select “Add Frame” and type “LIUNA PRO Act” into the search bar that says “Search frames.” From there you can select your favorite frame and add it to your profile picture!
