Bloomington, Ill., Local 362 recently teamed up with other local organizations and businesses, including Building & Trades, the Chamber of Commerce, Business Builders, and The Pantagraph, to throw a holiday party for unemployed and underemployed families in need in McLean County. There were 520 families registered with 1,800 children. Each child received a toy or game, book, and candy, and families received a dry food box, and a ham or turkey.
