On Monday, March 4, 2024, Local 362 received a call from the Midwest Food Bank that was in need of volunteers. The Midwest Food Bank is a central hub in Illinois that serves communities from south of Chicago down to Cairo, Ill. The facility needed help with loading up the various food trucks, trailers, and vans that would then distribute the food to their communities. Local 362 was able to provide them with 32 volunteers over two days and logged 128 volunteer hours.
