LIUNA Local 350, based in Houton, Tx., hosted a Solar Farm Installation training seminar in Kountze, Tx., recently. This first class trained 15 Laborers, with more training planned as solar gains traction across the country.
“LIUNA is preparing our members for the work of today, and the future,” said Reno Hammond, Southwest Laborers District Council Business Manager. “Supplying qualified workers for construction is what we do,” he concluded.
